Build and Compatibility

Regarding its size, the R-41M speakers are suitable for any home structure. Since its dimensions come at 11.3 inches in height, 5.75 inches wide, and only 7.9 inches deep, it can be placed on any type of furniture or bookshelf or mounted on a wall. Even more, you can use it with a stand.

Additionally, Klipsch can always be reliable with aesthetically pleasing but simple layouts. Its black textured wood grain vinyl would look great in any room your home and provide a unique touch to your home decoration. It’s a shame that they only come in one color. It also includes rubber feet to avoid scratches.

Nonetheless, its build towards sound quality is also impressive. These bookshelf speakers are made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), which helps decrease the structure’s innate reverberation so it can produce sound more vividly. This grants a more accurate performance. Apart from enhancing the design, the copper woofers also offer great features to improve sound quality.

The Injection Graphite Copper Spun Woofers (IMG) have two primary functions: to reduce static noise so the sound remains clear even at high volume and allow better bass feedback. Additionally, they are quite solid but lightweight.

Sound

What if I told you that these speakers (in under $200 category) have scared me more times than I can remember due to its realistic sound quality. Their woofer and 1-inch aluminum Linear Tavel Suspension (LTS) offer a high 50W of uninterrupted power handling and can reach a peak of 200W. Even more, their high sensibility of 90W grants the capability of producing great sound without much power.

The exclusive LTS incorporated in the design awards the capability to reduce distortions and enhance performance. Sometimes, you will wonder if the sounds come from your speakers or somewhere in the house. However, I did notice that the speakers favor a certain range or focus point so it must have a central location to keep an appropriate soundstage.

The speakers’ 68Hz frequency response allows it to reach lower sound rates, but if you want to experience deep ranges, a subwoofer will be necessary. Personally, I have no problem with it.

Conclusion

At first, I was really skeptical to purchase these speakers since I had a soundbar that fit my needs. However, R-41M surpassed my expectations. They provided a sound quality that I did not expect due to their size and the realistic sounds it can produce have made my movies much more enjoyable. Don’t knock it until you try it!
