One of the exciting new products they showcased at CES 2020 is the L82 Classic bookshelf speakers. The L82 Classics come as a follow-up release to the L100 Classic speakers in 2018 and serve as a bookshelf sized baby brother. The L82 speakers share a similar design as their big brother with an 8 inch 2-way system delivering a prime hi-fi experience akin to the original L100 loudspeakers from the ’70s.
The L82 Classic bookshelf speakers boast an alluring retro design with an iconic JBL ‘Quadrex’ foam grille. The foam grille comes in your choice of three colors. You are able to choose between blue, black or orange. The grilles are also sold separately if you change your mind on which color you prefer at a later date.
The exterior of the L82 classic bookshelf speakers are coated with a wood veneer with a satin-walnut finish and look great whether you have them sitting horizontally or vertically. The speakers come with packaged with the JS-80 floor stands. These stands allow you to angle and elevate the speakers to suit the room and direct the treble frequencies to the right area. There is nothing worse when you unbox a new set of speakers and find that you need to then go out and purchase more accessories to suit your room so these are a welcome addition.
